As we all know, a Supraubic Cystostomy (SPC) , a kind of minimal access urinary bladder surgey for urinary diversion is a gold standard for urinary bladder outflow obstruction especially in: public bone fractures with urethral injury. Only urethral injury - may be due to foley's catheter insertion ( a very very rare in present era ) Prostatic or u. Bladder neck obstruction Rarely in urethral ostruction due to urethral strictures.

In females can be due to Reteroverted gravid / non gravid uterus. Does SPC (Supraubic Cystostomy ) still carry same importance in present era of digital world. & too recommend in females of Reteroverted gravid / non gravid uterine pathology a cause for Urinary flow Obstruction or do we routinely performing this SPC in females too ?
