The cardiotropic nature of SARS-CoV-2 is now well-known. The interaction of the virus with the cardiovascular system on multiple levels can manifest in several complications both during and after the COVID-19 infection. The scarcity of resources has added to the difficulty in managing these complications. Furthermore, a high incidence of hypertension and diabetes, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, rheumatic heart disease, Chagas disease, and myocardial injury has been observed in patients with post-acute COVID-19 syndrome.

To present some practical recommendations for managing cardiovascular diseases and COVID-19, Docplexus  has organized a webinar as part of  CME , in collaboration with   M.S.
