Dry-eye symptoms are commonly found in 95% of the patients after LASIK surgery. LASIK- the Laser-Assisted In situ Keratomileusis, performed to treat eye disorders such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. Whereas, the commonly found side effect after the LASIK surgery is the Dry-eye syndrome. This condition can lead to an adverse impact on visual recovery and includes symptoms such as gritty sensation, general ocular discomfort and fatigue, and ocular redness in the post-operative period.
