When we go on strikes, the govt labels us insensitive, the media blames us to be stone hearted, patients think we are callous and some people even think we are enjoying in the cover of strike. But has the common man understood what has got us to such a situation! We doctors spend the prime time of our lives studying and working for our patients. Our parents spend their life earnings in the process of paying for our books and fees which involves PMTcoaching - college- pg coaching- pg college-fellowships etc etc. Many times most of us give up our meals, our sleep and our rest just for our patients. Instead of our families we prioritise our patients.
