I have been a practising doctor for the last 35 years and have got admitted quite many patients in different hospitals at different times for some ailment or the other. One common concern in many of those instances were some of the following: 1. There are many hidden costs in the bill amount 2. Consultant Doctors' consultation is charged for every day, but the consultant does not visit the patient every day; he/ she leaves it to the duty doctor, who also many a time skips the visit.
3. Most often discharge is delayed, for some frivolous reason, though the real reason behind might be the hospital vested interest 4. Unnecessary investigations are done more often than necessary 5.
