A patient above 83 years of age complains of having been suffering from continuous dizziness from the last 10 years which is increasing gradually. At present, he is confined to home movements only. Dizziness is enhanced outside the home and specially in open ground, it is so severe that it hinders his movements. No headache. Non-hypertensive, non-diabetic, normal lipids, non-smoker, non-COPD Teetotaler otherwise active, addicted to yoga/exercise X 50 years with stable body weight 70 kg X 40 years. No other old age problems.
Has good lifestyle and pursues art of living. His walking has become difficult. MRI report-reveals: Multiple Lacunar cerebral Infarcts suggesting Cerebral Ischaemia. Prognosis about possible complications have been explained to him. Anti vertigo drugs and nootropics/neurotonics are not giving relief.
