One of my patient was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis 3 months ago. He is 56 years old. Very aggressive and refractory to treatment. Ivig and plasmapheresis done at interval of one month. Was on Prednisolone and mycophenolate mofetil and gradually increasing doses. Now on Rituximab and finally seems to be showing some improvement.
I would request all the eminent neurologists in this panel their opinion regarding thymectomy. He does not have a thymoma. Would be greatly obliged for your suggestions. What could be the best line of treatment ?
