The widespread distribution of COVID-19 vaccines offers a ray of hope against the pandemic. However, some people can experience an anaphylactic reaction soon after receiving the first dose, which is of significant concern. Therefore, appropriate and prompt medical treatment must be available in case an anaphylactic reaction is reported post-COVID-19 vaccination. In this regard, the recent guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the potential management of anaphylaxis post-COVID-19 vaccination are discussed in this article.
