The UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection has recently launched a mobile application for the registration of organ donors and individuals who are in need of organs. The prospective donors can use this free app to register their pledge for donating their organs and can also cancel their registration at any time without any condition. The Ministry further states that this mobile application will cross-reference the recipients with donors to determine any compatibility issues.
The Ministry has further added that the mobile application will be linked to the national organ donation program and will ensure the highest levels of data security of the donors and recipients. Source: Gulf News
