A 55 years old, undiagnosed and unattended patient, after diagnosis of hyperthyroidism, started on Carbimazole 10mg tablet, propranolomg10 my bid, alprazolam calcium and vit D. patient came after three days c/o unable to the take breath after meals. I thought it can be congestive failure due to betablocker but the USG congestive hepatomegaly found. Patient on diuretic medicine.
But USG Thyroid shows goitre while Ft4 it very high. One should think of congestive heart failure in very high levels of T4. What is the future treatment in this case?
