A 67 years old man presented to us with h/o progressive dysphagia to both solids and liquids.His previous notes showed that he was a known case of oesophageal carcinoma of the lower third of oesophagus diagnosed nine months back.He had previously undergone stent placement for the same and  stent replacement once.He had also got 1st line cisplatin-based chemotherapy with which follow-up CT scans showed the complete response of the liver lesions while a partial response of the oesophageal growth.There is no evidence of any metastatic disease elsewhere.The patient has KS-90 ps, no comorbidities and at present has dysphagia as his only symptom. He now wants to explore surgical options for his condition and asked me if I could remove the esophageal tumor.
