Unilateral Leg Swelling After Surgery- Think Of Lymphatic Ducts Disruption

This lady of sixty plus had a bigger wound in the left leg four years ago. She underwent skin grafting after the wound was suited for the same. She was not seen by me afterwards and on and of getting fever with rigors and treated by the Microvascular Surgeon who did the skin grafting.

The patients’s swelling was as shown in the first film.She was put on Tab.Vitamin C 500 mg thrice daily and within a month her leg became almost normal as seen in the second film and no fever in the mean time. The role of Ascorbic Acid in Lympoedema was made out by the scientists of  USSR even in 1989 and published in a Science journal of USSR. This case once again proves that scientific truth.
