foreign body in human body usually encountered in respiratory tract(retained fb in trachea),gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus,urethra to urinary bladder and peritoium retained surgical metarial but in this case an unusual place for foregn body, a healthy boy of 14 year old came for swelling in lower lip,on palpation it was stony hard and draining lymph nodes were normal,all teeth and gum normal but upper medial incisor tooth was missed. during excision of swelling ,missed incisor tooth was in swelling(unusual fb as tooth in lower lip).
fbodies may seen anywhere,we must have a suspicious mind!
