The USFDA has amended the emergency use authorizations for the updated formulations of mRNA-1273 and BNT162b2 COVID-19 vaccines  to include their use in children up to 6 months of age. Updates for parents and caregivers of children 6 months through 5 years of age Children who have received the original monovalent mRNA-1273 vaccine are now eligible for a single booster of the updated bivalent vaccine two months after completing a primary series with the monovalent vaccine.
