A well-known pharmaceutical company has received FDA approval for adalimumab-adbm, the first interchangeable biosimilar product to adalimumab, to treat certain inflammatory diseases. Adalimumab-adbm is the agency's first interchangeable monoclonal antibody and interchangeable biosimilar product that can be used as a substitute for adalimumab. These approved biosimilar and interchangeable biosimilar medications may help improve access to therapies for various critical diseases, as mentioned below.
