Chronic dacryocystitis is a very common ocular condition faced by almost all ophthalmologists in the daily routine practice. Maybe more common in females nasal pathology may be a precipitating factor for the occurrence of chronic dacryocystitis.
The commonest presenting feature is watering in one eye lasting for a constant period of time sometimes a small non-tender swelling may appear in the para lacrimal region on sac syringing.
