Case:-   A gynaecologist was booked for doing MTP on a woman who was separated but not yet divorced. The consent was taken from a woman but not from her husband. Her husband complained to the police. Gynaecologist debarred from practice until the conclusion of the trial.

The gynaecologist said that MTP was done with woman consent as the foetus was not alive. What is your opinion on this case? Has Gynaecologist really violated rules of taking consent?
