Now a days, violence against doctors is quite frequent. Many medical professionals are being beaten up, harassed and defamed by patients’ relatives due to reasons like patient death, inflated bills and sometimes behaviour of the doctors. Recently, "Prevention of Violence Against Doctors, Medical Professionals and Medical Institutions Bill, 2018" has been presented in the parliament to prevent violence against doctors and medical facilities.
