Is there any government agency which recognises newer kind of treatments which are lesser known, but are being practised by some medical practitioners, and which are still not being practised by most of the consultants of a particular speciality of modern medical system? I am looking into claims submitted to various health insurance companies under health insurance policies, and I am expected to give them expert opinion about the admissibility of claim in the light of terms and conditions of the policy.
These days newer treatments are being introduced in market, which are not even described in medical books. How do we decide, if a treatment is recognised one or it is still experimental?
