A patient was diagnosed +ve with typhoid fever on 14th Oct. She has fever since 3 days. Other symptoms are nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, fever is on and off hourly nature. The following are the observations: Her bilirubin total is 1.9 but no icterus or yellowing of skin. Direct 1.2 Australian anti is non-reactive (strip method) Mp -ve Sgot sgpt- normal.
Bp- 100/60 Wt- 55 kg Serum proteins normal 1st pregnancy Lmp- 11 sept 15 2nd sample has bilirubin and Widal test normal (on 14th oct). Kindly guide about pregnancy risks, medications, diet. Is increasing bilirubin level harmful for pregnancy?
