This is the report of a patient 60 years of a female with HIV test done by western blot method which suggested p24 is positive. How to interpret this results? The patient has been suffering from generalised weakness and on & off loose stools from last few years. No h/o blood transfusion or organ transplant. HCV and HBsAg are negative.
Complement C3/ C4 negative and anti-Ro and anti-La antibodies negative (done as patient suffers from dry eyes and dry mouth from last more than 25 years).
