A 27-year-old patient came to me with complains of secondary infertility. Patient and her husband both looked depressed, not ready to talk easily. When I inquired about her problem she showed me a packet full of investigations( haemogram multiple bd sugars, usg) but did not speak a word. All investigations were normal. Later on counselling, she told that in 7 years of her marriage she conceived once but pregnancy was terminated at 7 months of GA due to severe oligohydramnios and loss of fetal movements and child did not survive.
Since then she has not conceived again. When I tried to examine her she screamed with pain wen I touched her introitus with lubricated gloved finger. It was impossible for me to introduce speculum as she started crying with pain wen I introduced 2 fingers in vagina. Later she told me it is very painful for her to be in contact with her husband.
