High Court lawyers charge as much as Rs 2-6 lakhs just for appearing for a hearing! Why don't surgeons charge as much for performing a lifesaving surgery? Because if they do, then patients will label them as being commercial and money-hungry!

Why does society have double standards when judging the fees which doctors and lawyers charge? Aren't both educated professionals?
