Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the long-awaited district programme under Ayushman Bharat, one of the key initiative of NITI Aayog, on April 14. The government aims to set up 1.5 lakh wellness center by 2022 that will improve the comprehensive primary health care. Through the 'Transformation of Aspirational Districts’ programme, the government aims to effectively transform the 115 districts based on the real-time monitoring.
