Every year World Arthritis Day is observed to raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) across the world. More than 200 RMDs exist and not much is known about the impact of these largely-felt silent diseases. This year’s theme, ‘It's in your hands, take action’ , aims to educate people about the ethical and healthy living choices, symptoms of the disease, its diagnosis, prevention, and the latest available treatment options for RMDs.
