Ovarian cancer is the most fatal gynecologic malignancy that globally affects over 2,50,000 women per year. 1,2 Family history and advancing age are the strongest risk factors for the disease. Though early diagnosis of tumors is the most important prognostic factor, it often delays in the majority of women due to the asymptomatic early stage of the disease.
