In a draft advisory, 50% price cap has been proposed on the profit percent of medicines, consumables at city private hospitals and nursing homes in New Delhi. The health minister said that this draft advisory will be in public domain for suggestions and objections of any for 30 days. The draft states that the prices on consumables and medicines could be maximum 50% more than purchase price.
