Antenatal care is the systemic supervision of women during her pregnancy to monitor her vital parameters and progress of fetal growth and to ascertain well-being of the mother and the fetus. Though ANC is such an important indicator, it is still neglected in public health. According to NFHS-4, mothers who had antenatal check-up in the first trimester is 58.6% (total) and less in rural that is 54.2% as compared to urban 69.1% Government is continuously working more in rural areas by targeting specific population, providing them ASHA, ANM, Anganwadi and some NGOs but it is less in rural area.
