53 yrs male, with c/o sudden and unexpected tripping of the right ankle while walking when he unknowingly steps on the slightly uneven ground. The right ankle gives away with the plantar surface facing medially. He may or may not fall on the ground depending upon the level of the uneven surface. It becomes embarrassing for him in the middle of the road. This is followed by swelling of the ankle which heals on analgesics and rest. He has to stand or sit for some time on the road before he starts limping back.
H/O injury to right ankle about twenty years back when in the dark of night he was walking on the road and he accidentally stepped into a hole and had reportedly sprained his ankle. He had severe unbearable pain at that time, and since then he experiences tripping of the ankle off and on. Non-smoker, occasional beer consumption, no h/o HT/DM/TB/TBC. No h/o surgery.
