We report a case of Transient Global Amnesia (TGA) occurring after General Anaesthesia, Transient Global Amnesia is a neurological syndrome characterised by sudden onset of intense retrograde amnesia and inability to form new memories, however awareness, personal identity and attention remain intact .it is very uncommon seen after anaesthesia. A 53 years old man underwent shoulder surgery under general anaesthesia in beach chair position, his medial background of obesity BMI of 49, hypertension and obstructive sleep apnoea diagnosed and uses CPAP machine at home ,he had previous surgery for nose and shortening uvula to help his snoring few years before post-operatively he was noted to be very aggressive and agitated as told by the wife.
