A leading techno-commercial company has developed a digital authentication technology for the pharmaceutical industry in order to address the increasing threat of counterfeit products. According to the company, an acute shortage of drugs to treat the symptoms of COVID-19 has led to more counterfeit drugs circulating lately. It added that there are reports of fake antiviral drugs and fake immunosuppressive injectables that exist in the marketplace.
