Scientists in Qatar are developing, a first-of-its-kind digital platform for diabetic patients that monitors blood glucose level changes, and analyses the data to provide intelligent insights in real-time. With a hike in the number of diabetes incidences as estimated by WHO 1 , the need for innovative approaches to managing diabetes-related complications and diabetes care is imminent. Various digital applications are available to health caregivers to manage patient care effectively. Modern applications integrate remote sensing, artificial intelligence technology to provide analysis and immediate feedback.
