Case presentation A 6-year-old male was presented to the emergency department with worsening eczema for the last five days, associated with lethargy and malaise. He was suffering from deteriorating pruritus, sleeplessness, and painful skin around his face, chest, neck, and forearms. According to him, the pain level was 8 out of 10.
In addition, he was not responding to his usual eczema treatments.
