U.S. Food and Drug Administration raised a concern for all the doctors about a rare cancer associated with breast implants. Breast Surgery ranks third most common aesthetic surgery in many countries. Millions of breast surgeries were completed in U.S. in last five years.

According to International society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) there were 51,000 breast augmentation in India by 2010 and the number has now been increased much more. Breast augmentation is done to increase breast size by embedding breast implants underneath tissues. But this has linked with increased risk of developing a rare cancer named anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL).
