To alleviate the risks and damage caused by pandemics in the future, scientists and leaders worldwide are working together towards making an international treaty for pandemic preparedness and response. Objectives An international treaty on pandemics will be a legally binding entity between various countries aiming to strengthen regional, national, and global capacities and resilience to future pandemics.
