Anaesthesia for Laparoscopic removal of pheochromocytoma - presents a great challenge for anaesthesiologist and operating surgeon. [CO 2 and Tumor] 1) Simplifying  concepts are optimising Blood pressure with Alpha blockers ,  initially , — followed by  a combination / addition  of  calcium channel blockers, Angiotensin receptor blockers ,   Finally by beta blockers . We added  Zolpidem 10 mg for a pheochromocytoma patient with bipolar disorder (psychiatric). With A   BALANCED  ANTI-HYPERTENSIVE treatment— Control is much easier and rapid.

2) Doses titrated to achieve reasonably optimal blood pressure  and heart rate. 3) On the night before surgery — Along with routine doses of antihypertensives  — Anxiolytics like Zolpidem or Lorazepam etc are given . 4) On the day of surgery - Anti hypertensives and Anxiolytics are repeated as per requirements. 5) Arterial line, Central venous Line…
