Scientific evidences are suggestive of the reduction in the symptoms of long COVID -19 patients on administration of antihistamines. A study published in the journal medRxiv , justifies the statement in correlation to the memory T- cell profile. A prospective observational cohort study was conducted in a single site outpatient clinic where 49 patients with mild COVID-19 who developed long term symptoms after the acute SARS-CoV-2 infection and 16 COVID recovered patients as control group (asymptomatic) were considered.
