The most widely circulated rebuttal is this. The journalist has absolutely no idea about the expenses involved.
In that case, printing should cost 5/-, newspapers should cost 1/-, a novel should cost 15/-, luxury cars should cost <10000/-, news channels charges should be free as there is no cost involved in transmission.
