Synopsis Scoliosis is defined as a lateral curvature of the spine>10 ° , as measured using the Cobb method on standing spinal radiograph. The most common form is adolescent-onset idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). No previous studies have used a prospective study to gain insight into the association between physical activity and the onset of scoliosis.
The present study aims at understanding if there is an association between physical activity and onset of scoliosis, based on measurement of spinal curvature on whole-body.
