Synopsis                                                                                                                                                                 Autologous grafting is the gold standard for reconstruction of maxillofacial bone defects. Despite this, there are challenges faced by autologous grafting. The study aims at development and evaluation of a less invasive bone reconstruction technique using bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (BM-MSCs) which would be devoid of the challenges faced by autologous bone grafting in a clinical setting.
