Tenosynovitis is a typical inflammation of synovium, a fluid filled protective sheath which surrounds a tendon. Due to injury the synovial fluid cannot make enough fluid which often leads to join pains, swelling and also stiffness.
The occurrence of Tenosynovitis is more in women than men. Common manifestations of tenosynovitis: DeQuervain's tenosynovitis Trigger finger or trigger thumb
