A 31-year-old man with a history of acquired immune deficiency syndrome presented to the general department of a hospital with complaints of recurrent acute dysphagia. Upon physical examination, a whitish membrane covering much of his tongue and palate was observed. Endoscopy revealed the same whitish membrane on his oesophageal mucosa.
