Case presentation A 7-year-old boy came to the orthopedics outpatient department with a swelling in his left knee that had started a year ago and had been steadily increasing since then. This was linked with occasional pain, tenderness, and a restricted range of movement.

The patient had no history of trauma, fever, or other swellings.
