A 17 months old baby girl, weighs 9 kg, birth weight is3.4kg, is a known case of hyperIGE and atopic dermatitis. She came with C/O severe itching since 10 months, habit of biting her wrist joint. Her mother using aloe cream( cholesterol base cream), fexofenadine syrup as per her pediatrician's advice. 1 month back mother stopped breastfeed and started formula milk. After two days the baby got abdominal distention.
The 3rd day she changed to another formula then the abdominal distention got reduce by itself. On 10th day again she gave the previous formula milk and baby developed abdominal distention again.Doctor examine the baby and find out liver swelling and suggested LFT AND RFT.
