A 10-year-old girl presented after falling from a bicycle. According to her, she lost balance and the bicycle handle hit her abdomen. Since then, she has experienced 4-5 episodes of nonbilious, nonbloody vomiting. No loss of consciousness was reported. Physical examination Laboratory analyses    Radiographic findings: A CT scan of the abdomen, with enteral and parenteral contrast, was performed. A 5-cm liver laceration to the anterior lobe of the liver was observed.

There was no indication of a duodenal hematoma. On the third day of admission , the patient complained of worsening abdominal pain .
