Cost of the stents Reduced — Hospital bill to patients didn’t reduce. Hospitals are charging the same amount. Why? Who will pay for the Bank loan of Cath lab (5 crores), in which stenting is done? We are importing C arm, Laminar flow, Ac, Operation theatre beds, nut, bolt, everything —— our IIT s are not making them??? The government should know the cost of MRI machine ( 12 crores), CT machine ( 5 crores), etc — All Imported. Not made by our GREAT IIT s. So the cost of MRI, CT, can never be Reduced. + Commissions to the doctors who prescribe MRI / CT adds to the cost.
