The clinical manifestations of SARS-CoV-2 in children have been atypical, ranging from asymptomatic to mildly symptomatic with low-grade fever, fatigue, vomiting, and cough. The unpredictable nature of various variants and their effect on children of different age groups is yet to be understood completely. The recognition of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) and long COVID is only minor progress towards understanding the long-term effects of COVID-19. Children, being the vulnerable population, may always be at risk of infection from the unknown variants; however, a constant effort from the experts can help limit the spread of the virus.

Sharing his insights on COVID-19 and its effect on children, we have Dr. Amitav Banerjee joining us for an exclusive webinar on “COVID-19 and Children” on 24 th February 2022, 3:00 PM onwards. Do not miss this session!
