Circadian is around the day (a greek origin of the word). There are many diseases which show a circadian pattern rhythm. There is an influence of the hypothalamus in this aspect as it is considered as the human biological watch. The mechanisms of the relationship between various diseases and timing are established either of: hormonal, neurological, electric etc. Examples of such diseases are: malaria fever timing, dawn phenomenon of DM, peak of arterial hypertension in the early morning, adult onset Still's disease and nocturnal enuresis/asthma.

The importance of this subject is appreciated towards: patholophhysiology, diagnosis and timing and type of treatments. It is known that AMI is more prevalent during March and October. Why nobody knows yet? Thus, colleagues! Kindly put your inputs to enrich this subject.
