In an offer to provide better home-based patients healthcare services, Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has launched smart home care technologies (Salama). This service introduced by the DHA would allow home care team to contact doctors via smart applications and devices for instant consultation. Around 1,372 clients have been benefited from home care services in Dubai to date.
With the introduction of smart home care application , the number of beneficiaries is expected to increase by 50-fold . Director General of DHA said that incorporation of such smart technologies in healthcare is an important step to enhance patient care, ensuring better follow-ups and empower patients.
