A diabetic & hypertensive female aged 58 years on insulin is having a severe burning sensation of the right hand for last 3 days. The episode started with a small area of soft tissue inflammation on the right ring finger. There is numbness of the entire limb also & she put history of tuning it bluish/dark sometimes.She had previously frozen shoulder of the left side a few months back which has resolved partially. The local doctor provided with Gabapentin+Nortriptyline with some Tramadol.
Blood sugar is within normal. Can anyone help with further step in the management?
